Standing Commitees

Standing Committees are the Nation'sPort "policy and program" drivers ... the "teams" in which the region's goods movement challenges can be identified.

All Nation'sPort members and affiliates are welcome to participate in Standing Committee meetings and we encourage participants to join in discussions outside of their usual areas of interest and influence.

For example, while those most interested in Land Use and Development might elect to participate in that particular standing committee, the "connectivity" issues are welcome and important to the Port and Inland Transportation committees.

It is the prioritization of issues within the Standing Committees that, when brought to the full board, will define the strategic agenda for the future.
